Seventy neatly arranged pitches for tents, caravans, mobile homes or folding tents are waiting for you. Whether you stay a day, a week, a month or half a year, you are always welcome! Thanks to the landscaped greenery between the pitches, you will stay in a beautiful natural environment. The many hedges create cozy spots and a quiet corner for a good book.

Each field is equipped with electricity (10 amps) and water. On the tent meadow, you can choose your own spot, without electricity or a water tap. Whatever your style of camping, we offer a wide range of options!

Sanitary facilities
Good sanitary facilities make all the difference when camping. That is why we pay a lot of attention to them every single day at Camping Houtum.
Our heated sanitary building is centrally located on the campsite and easy to reach from all camping pitches. Inside, you will find spacious showers, toilets, washing-up areas, washing machines, a family shower, baby facilities and accessible sanitary amenities.
For hot water, we work with a SEP card system. Upon arrival, your card is automatically loaded with €10 credit. Any unused balance is simply refunded at departure, so you only pay for what you actually use.
Even during colder periods, the sanitary building remains comfortable thanks to the heating and underfloor heating throughout the building.

Café de Congé
In the middle of Camping Houtum, you will find Café de Congé, our cosy campsite café where campers, walkers, cyclists and visitors from Kasterlee come together. It is not a large or busy café, but a welcoming place where you can slow down and enjoy the holiday atmosphere.
After a walk through the Kempen nature, a bike ride along the Kleine Nete or simply a relaxing day on the campsite, it is always nice to settle down on our terrace or inside the café. Whether you feel like a refreshing Belgian beer, a local specialty beer from Kasterlee or just a cup of coffee in the sun, you are more than welcome.
Café de Congé is not only about having a drink, but also about the atmosphere around it. Chatting with fellow campers, staying a little longer after a bike ride or playing a game of billiards or darts together. Especially during summer evenings, the terrace really comes alive.
Inside, you can enjoy the cosy atmosphere and air conditioning during warm summer days. We also regularly organise pleasant activities such as bingo and card evenings.
Even if you are not staying at the campsite, you are always welcome at Café de Congé. Because being “on holiday” is simply part of the atmosphere here.

Just one more thing:
From November 12, 2026 and this through February 15, 2027, our base field will be closed completely due to possible adverse weather conditions.
Our comfort pitches will remain available but are not always passable during the winter season. Therefore, we have provided a dolomite paved parking lot of 10 by 4 meters as an alternative, close to your pitch and therefore also with connections. The mobilehome - and tent pitches are, of course, always available.
Please note that during our ANNUAL VACATION from November 12 through December 17, 2026, we will be closed and therefore there are no places available.
We would also like to point out that we have a 'dog tolerated' policy on our entire domain. This means that your dog is welcome if you follow a few rules:
No attacking or aggressive dogs / Noisy dogs are not welcome / Keep your dog on a leash at all times / On and around the domain (including in the woods and fields) there is a strict clean-up duty / Dogs are not allowed inside the bar and restaurant, but on the terrace / And finally: dogs are not allowed inside our rental accommodations, regardless of their size or breed.
