Together with Café de Congé and De Putten, Camping Houtum forms a domain to 'lick your thumbs and fingers off'. There is something for everyone. The little ones can romp around in the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, while the parents can enjoy a terrace drink or cozy dinner. Young and old can play beach volleyball, petanque, cycle and walk. Or... stretching out in a seat under the sun is also possible of course ...

What can activities can you do?
The showpiece of the Kempen is primarily the hundreds of kilometers of walking, cycling and mountain bike routes. Discover them all via our 'Discover the region' page.
Fancy something sporty? How about some beach volleyball or a real petanque tournament! Behind Café the Congé, near the terrace, the petanque ground and beach volleyball court are waiting for you. You can use them free of charge.
Children can spend hours roaming around the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. No time to get bored. And with some luck, they will find a new playmate there.
Animal lovers can admire the goats in our goat pasture. Stroking them is allowed, if they dare to come closer. If you really want to feed them, you can do so with a jar of customised feed available for sale at the indoor playground in Domain the Putten.
Don't feel like cooking? You can get snacks and hot dishes at Domain de Putten. Familyrestaurant Moe Marie also opens its doors to an all-in formula with classics from the Flemish cuisine: cosy together at the table while the children can have fun in the playgrounds. See their website for opening days ... If you prefer to eat in your campervan, caravan or tent pitch: bring your own cooking pot to take away e.g. soup or crispy fries. It's possible!
If you are tired in the evening and just want to relax for a while, you can do so with a tasty local beer or a Trappist and so much more, on the terrace or inside Café The Congé. Settle down with a glass or a cup in the hand and with a nice muziekske* we like to say, 'Schol!*'. (* Flemish)
We would like to add that a 'dog tolerated' policy applies throughout our domain. This means that your dog is welcome if you follow a few rules: no attack or aggressive dogs, noisy dogs are not welcome, your dog is always on a leash, on and around the domain (also in the woods and fields) a strict cleaning obligation applies, dogs are not allowed inside the bar and restaurant, but on the terrace.
No dogs are allowed in all our rental accommodations, regardless of size or breed.
